Based on my informal survey of cabbies, NY's immigrant Moslem population is down by about 40% since 9/11.

Using the "cabbie" standard, maybe even a little more.

This witch needs to be in jail for hiring Livingston to illegally search FBI files, for filing a criminal complaint against Billy Dale, and for having Vince Foster murdered. Who out here believes that she had "had no idea" where her Rose law firm billing records were - took more than a year for them to "show up" in a box in the Clintoon's library. Yea right!

Witch ain't worth yellow snow.

Un-freakin-believable. The three Chinatowns in Toronto bounced back on their own.

Well, *this* Chinatown took a huge hit after 9/11. Streets were blocked for months and most didn't have phone service for at least a couple of months -- and the restaurants depend on delivery service for like 80% of their business. The best the phone company could do was give them cell phones, but couldn't hook up the cells to the restaurants' regular phone numbers, so they were useless -- unless the restaurants wanted to pay to print and distribute new menus.

I've been to Chinatown for lunch a few times in the past couple of weeks, and it seems that I'm often just about the only non-Asian in the whole neighborhood.
