A close pal of former city official Russell Harding - the son of political heavyweight Ray Harding - ratted out his friend yesterday, telling a federal judge they ripped off the public purse to jet around the world together.

The admission by Luke Cusack, who worked with Harding at the Housing Development Corporation, is a massive setback to Harding's fight against a six-count indictment that carries a maximum 45-year prison sentence.
