The main question for any post-combat analysis would be: How many among the media elite (CBS,NBC, ABC, New York Times, L.A. Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe, et al) were praying for major setbacks, massive loss of American and British lives and failure to escape the quagmire that was so often predicted? My nomination for one of the worst purveyors of doom is Brian Williams, who probably couldn't make change at a Burger King.

My main question would be: Why would anyone interested in accurate coverage listen to the spin networks and the spin media?

If it isn't FR, FOX, selected talk radio stations or selected internet sites, then it isn't worth the effort to turn the dial or click the remote.

Credit to the TICKs also for their great coverage.
