Funny how this nicely santized article does mention the girl received somewhat humane treatment, but doesn't quite cover the amount of abuse the boys received - including the DAD-figure making the brothers hold one of the others down while she kicked him in the groin with her steel-toe boots. Man-haters? You bet. Which is why I can't figure on their choosing the term "DAD" for the "partner" of the mother. Taking the gender out of the title, I presume.

One more thing - why doesn't this article discuss the extent of the abuse of the 10 year old? Wasn't he 28 POUNDS when found?
