I had a history professor at the University of Cincinnati that absolutely slammed Kennedy. I was stunned. I had never heard anything like it before and haven't heard anything like it since. He basically said Kennedy was a pathetic excuse for a president, how corrupt the entire family was (especially his dad), and that being assassinated was the best thing he could do for himself, the democratic party, and the country. Of course, this was also the professor that talked about how stupid farm subsidies are, so maybe I shouldn't have been quite so surprised.

Many years back on an “All in the Family” were they had Archie arguing with the super liberal Maude ….. Archie brings up FDR were upon Maude gets total indignant and with here nose in the air as high as it would go states about FDR “He was a God!”

I went to Catholic school in the 1970s and learned all about Saint Kennedy.

I can't find an online picture of those kistchy JFK memorial rugs that people hung on their walls. Goes good next to a velvet painting of the late Elvis Presley.
