Under a legalized drug plan, the lab would be someone like Pfizer or Merck. Same as all other "prescription" drugs. The profit motive would be removed this way. Understand? It's called CAPITALISM.
Pfizer and Merck are propped up by the government to ensure that they are not undersold by the generics. There is no way they could maintain their profit margin and compete with private meth labs.
