The engineer is in critical condition in a Savannah hospital.

No trains between Savannah and Jacksonville until the tracks are cleared.

I am amazed at how low that helicopter seems to be.

Hope the engineer recovers...and glad there were no more serious injuries or deaths.

Wow! When I was a kid (before gates were installed and they used only lights), I saw the aftermath of several train v. vehicle accidents and actually saw the impact of two such accidents take place. Huge mass = huge force. Doesn't seem to happen anymore since we got the gates.

Terrible!
