OK, so if you're in the service and stationed overseas, your absentee ballot doesn't count. But if you're dead, your vote counts.

OK, so if you're in the service and stationed overseas, your absentee ballot doesn't count. But if you're dead, your vote counts.

What if you're in the service and send in your absentee ballot prior to the election, but die in combat after mailing the ballot but before election day. Shouldn't your ballot be counted?
