Yep. Heard this on WABC radio tonight that goes back to 1975 when Chirac sold Saddam nuclear plant machinery. And Saddam has been paying him ever since. Also, France has been sending sophisticated weapons to Iraq for a long time and increased it since 9/11. And, the story about trucks of money supposedly taken by Uday or Orsay, one of the sons.....It's a front story..... The Russians took it. Russian Mafia to be exact.

That's what I heard.

I heard the same. I'm getting to be a faithful listener to the Loftus report. He keeps us about 2 weeks ahead of the curve.

The French Connection - SH virtually funded Chiraq and his party's rise to prominence. In exchange, SH demanded and got material to build a nuclear reactor (at Al Tuwatha). The reactor was bombed twice, once by Israel (don't recall the year) and once by the US during Desert Storm.

SH tightened the screw on Chiraq during the past year, resulting in Chiraq's undying allegiance and the acquisition of military materiel prohibited by the sanctions--tanks, etc. marked with the year 2002. Those have been found and reported on. The last demand--that France provide leading Iraqis with visas to pass into Europe. The French obliged.

It will be interesting to see how these revelations play in the European Press. The press in the UK will have a field day with this, to be sure. But actually, in the eyes of the French people, who consider SH saintly and GWB as evil, these revelations will probably make Chiraq even more of a hero.

Doubtful that many in the world community will ever roll out the red carpet for Chiraq again. And the U.S. should refuse to be part of the U.N. if it insists on allowing France to remain as a member of the Security Council.

I just remembered. Loftus said that the Wall St. Journal was going to be covering either the Chiraq or Baradei angles in the next few days. Do you have any knowledge of that? I searched FR for an article and found none. I imagine the story would be on the pay per view Wall Street site, which I don't subscribe to.
