Miss Universe Contestants Must Prove They're SARS-Free
Certain Contestants Will Undergo Greater Scrutiny

They'll be bringing their bathing suits -- and letters certifying they don't have severe acute respiratory syndrome -- to the Miss Universe pageant in Panama.
Seventy-four women from around will take part in the pageant, which culminates with the crowning of a new Miss Universe on June 3.
The mayor of Panama City says every contestant is required to obtain a doctor's note before traveling to Panama.
Contestants from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Canada and other areas most affected by the disease will have to show more proof. The documents will be collected by anti-SARS specialists at the airport upon their arrival.
The mayor says he's trying to ensure that SARS is not brought to Panama.
