The culture wars have entered a new phase and the feds have the big guns. They've put the politically correct educationists on the run, overwhelming them with intellectual firepower, campaigning to restore the teaching of civics and American history to the nation's schools.

When I got out of the Army, I used my GI Bill to get my degree. I took Introduction to Education in the possible interest of getting my teaching certificate. The teacher was some feminist who looked exactly like Witch Hazel in the Little Lulu comix. I've felt more comfortable conversing with Soviet Army officers (in US Army uniform, of course,) than dealing with these ed liberals!
