I want `corrupt' Bush ousted: Mayor

London mayor Ken Livingstone has launched an outspoken attack on "corrupt" US President George Bush.
Veteran left-winger Mr Livingstone said he was as keen to see Mr Bush ousted as he was to see Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein go.
The mayor's outburst was condemned by Conservatives who warned it could put Americans off of visiting London.
It came as Mr Livingstone took questions from 200 schoolchildren visiting City Hall this morning, London's Evening Standard said.
Channel 4's Krishnan Guru-Murphy, who was chairing the meeting, asked the mayor to explain why he had made a personal attack on Mr Bush when he disliked answering personal questions.
The Mayor said: "I think George Bush is the most corrupt American president since Harding in the Twenties. He is not the legitimate president."
Mr Livingstone later added: "This really is a completely unsupportable government and I look forward to it being overthrown as much as I looked forward to Saddam Hussein being overthrown."
Steve Norris, Tory candidate for London mayor, said it was "utterly irresponsible" of Mr Livingstone to "mouth off".
"I'm afraid this is typical Livingstone: the red mist comes down and his judgment just flies out of the window," Mr Norris said.
"It is utterly irresponsible for the Mayor to mouth off about the US President at a time when we need to do all we can to attract back American tourists. Instead of pontificating about world affairs, it might be better if Livingstone concentrated on sorting out London's problems."

Wait, I'm confused. Left-wingers did want to do ANYTHING to oust SH -- so does that mean he wants Bush to stay? Jeez it's hard to follow lib-think...

The Mayor said: "I think George Bush is the most corrupt American president since Harding in the Twenties. He is not the legitimate president." The Dixie Chicks should be real proud they're not alone in their hatred for this president.

He is not the legitimate president." This guy must be confusing W with Bubba; George and Barbara were married when W was conceived.

Any word on any basis for the comments? Like a reasons WHY he thinks the administration is corrupt? Surely we ought to at least drag that out of him. :)

Thank you Mr. Mayor. When we want ignorant, non-citizens to tell us how to run our country, we'll call you. Till we do, please STFU.

I wonder why non-Americans think they have a say in who our president is. Americans never think of choosing leaders for Britain, France, China, or Russia. If we tried they would rightly say we had only American self-interest in mind.
