I have worried for many years about the future of this great Republic, thinking that all our hero's are in our past, but after 9/11 and the sacrifice of the police and firemen in New York, our brave soldiers in Afganistan, and now the stunning victory in Irag by a military I don't even recognize from the one I served in from 1958-1962, I have a confident feeling about our future.
