There is also the unavoidable fact that most of the deaths occur 200 miles west of where Border Hawk will be operating.
There is a very good reason why Cochise County is a popular crossing spot. We ar at a higher elevation (average 4500 feet, up to 9000+) and thus much more comfortable than the rest of southern Arizona. It actually snows here during the winters.

Hmmm.
Wish I hadn't poured that last drink. A Border Patrol helicopter just passed over the house at full throttle headed towards the San Pedro River. Decent moonlight right now and I might have gotten some good pictures of the BP youngsters having fun.
