Palestinians fired six homemade Qassam rockets into Israel from the Gaza Strip, hitting the Negev Desert town of Sderot and spraying debris that lightly injured a woman and an 10-year-old girl, police said. Three other people were treated for shock.
The woman and the girl were evacuated for medical treatment in Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon. Hospital officials said that the young girl was hit by shrapnel, and had sustained light wounds to her hands and arms.
Another missile landed on the roof of a vacant house in the town, home to about 20,000 people. The other five homemade Qassam rockets landed harmlessly in open agricultural areas.
The rockets struck just a few miles from Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's Havat Hashikmim sheep ranch. Militants have fired dozens of the rockets into Israel in recent months. The attacks have caused little damage and few injuries, but Israel considers them a provocation.

The UN and media puppets of the NWO will praise the Palestinians for destroying 5 rockets thereby fufilling the disarmament part of the road map. The woman who was hit will have to give her house to the Fatah to pay for obstructing UN justice. The United States will be billed for the cost of moving the house, the Arabs will burn it and dance in the ashes once the move is complete.
