[history]
Army ants, groups of ants that sweep along in massive, voracious groups, evolved just once -- contrary to common scientific belief -- a Cornell University researcher reports.
Entomologist Sean Brady studied the DNA of 30 army ant species from across the world and concluded that they all had the same point of origin.

Evolution is a theory that is shoved down our throats. It's the creating something out of nothingness that boggles our mind.

Since God can't be a factor in the scientific formula, enter EVOLUTION! The answer for all atheists...

Great post. I love this science stuff, but I am a bit of a nerd. I'm wondering if they've figured out where the original mutated species may have originated. So much to study, so little time.

The problem with the evolution THEORY is that there are too many unknowns and it will always remain "just a theory".

There was no strong theory of separate evolution, he said In other words, "It would be convenient if we could pin this on separate evolutionary occurences -- but that concept seems pretty ludicrous (even to us!) So, mark us down as having 'no strong theory' on the matter. But really, we have nothing else to go on."

evolution takes more faith than creationism..
Soooo....in order to have science sans God the creator
we come up with the intergalactic seeding theory...great stuff
we can delay trying to figure out where the original seeds for that far out planet came from for quite a while...since we cant go there and fudge their fossile evidence

I agree. I think that the theory of evolution and its corrolaries of natural selection as they've been taught over the past hundred years will one day be viewed as a quaint anachronism, like the phlogiston theory of combustion, once more facts come to light.

True. I think that Evolution makes more scientific sense than God made it so in an instant. Poof! Magic. You can believe in Evolution and still believe in a higher being.
