Chemical engineers get paid well for their internships. They make good money without a graduate degree as well. And they don't have to have a degree from an Ivy League school to get a job, either.

right on. I have not met an engineering intern that didn't get paid less than $10/hour. some make as much as 20/hour. I chose electrical engineering four years ago because i wanted to make good money immediately without getting more than a BS. even in this economy engineering still has the highest starting salaries. However, the road isn't an easy one.
I took a senior level geography class this semester and it wasn't any harder than my freshman classes. It felt like a total waste, even though i did get to learn how to use a GPS receiver.
