If weapons of mass destruction are not found, someone in the intellegence services who mislead this president, will pay the price. Count on it!If they are not found it does not mean that they were not there. There is much information from the captured cards and other prisoners that the stuff was all hidden and/or moved to Syria. If so, it will be found, but not so soon,
I cannot believe anyone would be stupid enough to declare WMD's were present when they didn't have proof. Somewhere along the chain of command someone is lieing. The vital question then becomes, how far up the chain of command did this take place? I believe if I was made out a liar not due to my complicity, I would be doing my utmost to clear my name and reputation.
I hear no protestations from Rumsfeld, Bush, Powell, or others from the inner circle. The silence is deafening. Do these gentlemen not care of their reputation? Do they not care of the credibility of the US in foreign relations? Evidently not.
