May 12, 2003 -- WHAT do Howard Dean, Vermont's former governor, and Osama bin Laden have in common?
Hatred of America's success.
One of the few things more painful to watch than a kiddie talent show is the desperate effort of the Democratic Party's White House hopefuls to gain any traction against President Bush.

Excellent analysis. One can only wish that the Dims' ignorance were painful. It's certainly painful to watch.

But insisting that every American success is really a failure serves no one's interestsOn the contrary, it serves the interests of the Democrat party, their number one concern being their own power -- first, last, and always.

But the truth is that Republicans should be alarmed at the left's unprecedented disarray. We need a vigorous, intellectually honest opposition. That excludes Democrats. I wouldn't worry about no debate for a while. It will happen. But it will be within the conservative movement--just as the debate was almost entirely within the liberal world view since FDR. For decades, Republicans compromised with Democrats. A $100 billion tax hike was reduced to $75 billion. Funding to fight the Cold War was traded for social spending. There wasn't anything else the GOP could do. Many times since FDR, Democrats had over a two to one majority in the House and a filibuster proof Senate. Now the situation is beginning to reverse itself. Democrats have not adjusted yet but they will. Soon they will be thanking the GOP for the bones they are tossed.

Until everyone realizes the king has no clothes... The democrats are digging their own hole by pursuing 'success into failure' politics.

What with a democRAT national leader who is a clinton butt boy, a senate leader that would let the U.S. waste, and leaders like John Conyers, Bob Graham,John kerry and Al gore waiting in the wings I think it's time the dims get a few new leaders that are maybe just a little pro U.S. before they are quite so pro party.

Speaking of Dukakis, Kerry was the Dukakis
was the first Lt. Governor in Mass,
and Lt. Governor's run at the running
mate of the Governor candidate.
So this really is Dukakis the second,
without all the charm of the first Dukakis.
To: Princeliberty
Dukakis had so little charisma and charm as to be amazing.
I wouldn't follow that guy out of the only door of a burning building.
To: Joe Boucher
Exactly my point and Kerry's worse than that.
