Hartman remained in the county prison Sunday, unable to post the $3,000 bail

It's hard for me to believe a $3,000 bail would be set for just parking tickets.

Although it says the man did not sic his dogs on the police, I feel this bail represents some other charge in this matter other than the tickets, as the police need to cover their a**es.

And we know LEOs would NEVER lie....

It's worth it though, a criminal traffic ticket scofflaw is off the streets.

The dog that survived the shooting remained in a veterinary hospital awaiting surgery to remove the bullets, Hoover said. But the surgery won't be done until the vet receives a $2,000 down payment, said Hoover, who is trying to raise the money through donations.

So, not only does he have to pony up the 3k for bail, he also has to pay for the damage done to his surviving dogs, thanks to the brilliant police work done by these fine lawmen. Must be great to be a cop. You get to shoot your gun whenever you want, and not have to be concerned about the consequences of your actions,

I guess the saying is true...some pigs are more equal than others.

And we know LEOs would NEVER lie....

No...of course not, but even when they do, don't you know it's for our own good? We can't have cops being held accountable to the same laws as the rest of us peons. How could they do their jobs if they had to tell the truth?

Allentown is also the place where politicians and powerful LEO's drug search kids lockers. If a dog smells a ham sandwich, they check the kid's house out. If it's really nice and in a good location, they get a warrant from a judge to go search it. Presto! Asset forfeiture takes place.

In the cases I read about, nobody home....no witnesses....and just the right amount of pot is found each time. They even took one kid's grandparents house. It just happened to be on a tract of land that was being developed and was an obstacle in the project. It's gone now!
