Wonder why Lear, Beech, etc., don't jump into the market?

I thought Lear was made by Bombardier.

I think you're right. But then, there's also Cessna. I just don't know why domestic manufacturers are not gearing up for an obviously growing market.

Bombardier purchased the Learjet Corporation (now Learjet Inc.) of the United States, in 1990.

You are correct. When Lear went bankrupt it was taken over by Bombardier; Lear jets are still built in Wichita using components made in Canada, Ireland and the USA.
