This little stunt may cause Filner to finally lose his seat ... I'm hoping!

The Navy has announced that because they have left the island, it will also close an accompanying base - 1200 jobs are going bye bye.

Also ... since the island is littered with bombs - it's too expensive to stay and dig them all up so the island is a hopeless piece - worth nothing!

All those people who planned to profit from the new plans for the island are out of luck.

I hope this comes home to haunt Filner BIG TIME!!!
