All in all it was a good Freep. THAT, Sir, is an understatement! Way To Go, Bob!!!!
To: Doctor Raoul
Brilliant Freep.
The Schadenfreude in newsrooms across the country is palpable.
To: Doctor Raoul
I'll probably remember a few other things tomorrow too, but when they weren't getting anyone to stop and talk I said, "Quick, run across the street to the deli and get a tray of cold cuts. That'll at least get the sportswriters to stop for a while."
The FOX News reporter commented, "That will work, I was a sports producer for years. But you'll have to get them some beer too."

Interesting enough. From Wednesday's edition of the
New York Post.
To: Doctor Raoul
Doc, I've read your Freep reports many times over the years--but this one is probably the funniest and best. Hearty congrats!

Great minds think alike. Could you imagine if that had come out today, AFTER Baghdad Bob's appearance at the NYT meeting?
They'd be whining so much about the NYP cartoon .....

Doc ~~~ this is
FRantastic!!!I laughed and laughed as I read it ..... and when I got to this little ditty, that's when I fell out of my chair from laughing so hard.
Howell Raines has lost his dog.
It answers to the name Quagmire.
If you find Quagmire, please send him to the front office.
They have been looking for Quagmire since Afghanistan.
You are one of a kind, Sir ..... and thank goodness you're on our side!

Thanks for the thanks.
One other line I used I borrowed from CNN's Larry King. In his book he knocks the New York Times failure to live up to it's motto because they, the media elite, decide what is or isn't news according to their tastes.
His version of the NYT motto is:
"All the news that's fit to print, sometimes on the frontpage."

Y'all think Bagdad Bob could make an appearance in Ardmore, OK to help the Chicken D's? They need a better spokesman, if you ask me.

"...The bad news is Al-Jazera just bought the New York Times
The good news is your editorial policies will not change.
Sometimes people passing would ask whats going on with all the media and Id either tell them that Al-Jazera just bought the New York Times or that the New York Times and Al-Jazera were holding merger talks.
It says something about the New York Times reputation that NO ONE questioned either of those explanations..." - Doctor Raoul
WAY TO GO, Doctor Raoul!!!!EXCELLENT one-man FReep!!!

ALOHA RONNIE will get first crack at Garofolo. Time worked against me getting down to Battery Place to also Freep her as plain old Saddam Hussein with a sign that read, "Hey Janeane, Big Daddy's Home."
Ping to abner......
