[history]
May 16, 2003 -- Some plaintiffs' attorneys say powerhouse law firm Milberg Weiss has hinted they must give campaign cash to Sen. Charles Schumer (D.-N.Y.) if they want potentially lucrative work on securities class-action lawsuits, The Post has learned.
In a meeting last month in New York to dole out work on these lawsuits, the senior partner at the firm urged attendees to support the senator.

"Sen. Schumer knew nothing about this meeting...... and certainly believes that nobody should feel pressured to contribute," Schumer spokesman Phil Singer said. Duh.

Actually since Hillary is a bit out of sorts over Brill's uncovering of her in the 9/11 ignoring of victims families, and Hillary is the leader in chief of the "lawyers", Chuckie may well be in the dark on this one.
What better way to stick it to Chuckie, the Hillary way. I don't know if Chuckie has permission to talk to Hillary's troops without her permission.

Against the law? Only for Republicans or Independents. There is a long body of case law building the precident that Democrats -- especially politicians -- do not have to obey the same laws as the rest of us.

Don't know if it Hillary's doing but there will be "Hell for pay" for Brill's exposure, making Chuckie look so good and Hillary as a cold hearted itch.
These two deserve each other and it will be fun to see them take swings at each other.

You, sir, are accusing innocent Dumbocrats of breaking the law. You need to be re-educated.
The train to the Re-education Camp is boarding at 7:00 AM.
Be there.....or else.
Dumbocrat Commandants get very angry if you don't show up.

"Don't know if this is list-worthy or not, but he's been such a foe." Thanks for the flag. I've been pinging my RKBA list so much lately between the 1994 AW ban sunset hysteria and the gunmakers litigation protection bill, I'm trying to give folks a rest.
Schumer is exactly the sort of evil scum that the founding fathers knew would be drawn to the halls of government power. If he ever found himself in a political situation similar to that which birthed Stalin, his atrocities would be just as great. Only the American rule of law (such as it is) keeps him and his ilk in check.

Don't bother Schumer with mere facts. He's just an ornery Dumbocrat.
The most dangerous place on earth is between Schumer and a TV camera.

LOL good one, and I do agree, so what will he have to pull to out stage BAB BAB and Hillary.
Brill's book exposing Hillary did not go over well, and Chuckie came out shinning.
To: Liz
For such a high-powered lawyer, Weiss isn't too sharp. If any of his help is let go, there's unlawful firing suits waiting in the wings on the grounds that the employee(s) didn't contribute to Chuckie's campaign fund. I love it!
