I think the passage of time is showing that the low degree of elasticity in superstition will force pragmatism on it, eventually. David Kimball had to have a conference with God, and Galileo with the inquistors, who thought it was the same thing.

Slouching towards Gomorrah.
In Luke 17 Jesus predicted that human history will have a Sodom and Gomorrah ending. The very fact that the socialist homosexual agenda has advanced to the point it calls the bible hate literature shows how far along we are towards the times of the antichrist, the great tribulation, and judgment.
I have plenty other reasons, but if I had no other reason, this alone is why I am absolutely opposed to the Democrats and Libertarians. So far, at least, the Republicans have not been the pro-homosexual/lesbian party. If they ever lose their courage on this issue they can count me out.

Okay, that settles it, we are in hell.

Canada won't have a country. The Quran is even more anti-gay then bible could ever be. Apparently Allah doesn't have that hate the sin, lover the sinner attitude, he's more of a "hate the sin, stone the sinner to death" type. If they wind up banning the quran, every muslim fundamentalist that can afford plane tickets will be suicide bombing that country to bits, plus boycotts and sanctions from the middle east.

Let me be blunt. Can somebody explain to me how such a small minority of rump rangers and carpet munchers have come to have so much power to distort what is considered normal, acceptable behavior by the majority?

Let me offer up another quick tale. A churchgoing elderly lady was ill
and had to stay home one Sunday morning. She had attended church faithfully for years and was distraught that she was going to miss the Sunday sermon.
The lady persuaded her non-religious husband to go to church and listen to the sermon for her. He agreed ,even though he didn't really like to go to church.
The poor fellow got bored, and fell asleep during the preaching. His wife later questioned about the pastor's message.
The old man said,"The preacher preached on sin."
The lady asked,"Oh really? What did he have to say about sin?"
"Well,"the old man said," I think he was against it."

This would be a strange sight. Satan standing outside a church with billboard protesting unfair treatment of demons and himself. ACLU and CNN would side with him and they would win in most courts.

Yeah, you can see who resembles the CNN and the ACLU in this little
story....
A costume sellsman was traveling in rural South Carolina on a Wednesday evening in late October. He stopped to pick up two hitch-hikers because this salesman was a kind neigborly sort of person.
However, the two hitch-hikers robbed him and beat him. They took the salesman's car, money, and even the clothes on his back .He was left one costume however. It was a red devil costume and plastic pitchfoork.
The salesman put the devil costume on,since it was his only clothing. He also put the horned hood on his head because night was approaching and his head was getting cold. His leg hurt somewhat,so he used the plastic pitchfork as a crutch.
The salesman spied a country church that was in the process of having its midweek prayer meeting. He thought ,"These fine Christians will help me,so I'll go there."
The salesman entered the country church's sanctuary in his red devil costume. The church folks thought the worst and fled in a panic in all directions.
One elderly lady was left behind still struggling to escape. She proclaimed to salesman , "Mr. Devil-Man ,let me tell you something. I've been a member of this church for forty years.I've been in the choir and taught Sunday School every Sunday ,but I've been on your side the whole time."

51 stars fit nicely on the USA flag if you put 3 rows of 9 stars and 3 rows of 8 stars. Each province would likely be its own state, I imagine.
