I am not a policeman - so I cannot answer from their perspective - but these knockdown violent entries seem to cause unintentional death and injury far too often.

Same thing happened here a few years ago. You think a RECON of the area, (physical & electronic) would prevent bad raids.

Once would be enough. It's a bad policy and inappropriate in America. It didn't sound like the thing to do when they started this several years ago, and it ought to be stopped. They probably catch some bad guys, too, but where is the 'presumed innocent' policy of America in all this?
