The NY Times did downplay the Holocaust. But it did not support Hitler.
To: aristeides
In reviewing the NYT's own words, it does sound to me like they were supporting Hitler: "...the staggering, staining failure of The New York Times to depict Hitler's methodical extermination of the Jews of Europe."

Exaggerating the NY Times's dereliction in Hitler's case is a politically correct way of deflecting attention from the paper's true crime: denying the very existence of the crimes of Communists like Stalin.

I think I posted a headline about both - Hitler AND Stalin.

Krugman like a lot left wing writers was some phoney board that Enron paid big money for them to be on:

MY CONNECTION WITH ENRON, ONE MORE TIME
I really didn't want to say any more about the Enron advisory board issue - I've already posted quite a lot of information here . I don't have anything to hide, but my job at the New York Times is to write about real issues, not myself. Still, the story keeps popping up.
Then it goes into how it was not bribed while being bribed by Enron in this thread.

Hopefully one of these days we will be able to follow blood money from $oddomite and his mass murdering thugs to the elite left wingers in America.
How many of the elite left winger mediots were paid to be consultants to protect $oddomite and his thugs?

My #43 was not about you, it was about the Sulzberger statement that you cited.

Is this the same Howell Raines that George XLIII was overheard calling a "majour league @$$#ole" in a conversation with Dick Cheney during campaign 2k?

I believe that was Adam Clymer, a reporter for the NYT, whom you are referring to.

No doubt you are correct about that, it does get confusing telling one majour league @$$#ole from another majour league @$$#ole!!!

That was a very interesting article, in that I was unaware how many new conservative student newspapers are being created now on college campuses. Thanks for the link.
