"I've heard that Henry Ford was against taking out Hitler"
Henry Ford published 10 million copies of a diatribe called "The International Jew" in the 1920's. Passages of the publication were incorporated into the American version of "Mein Kampf."
During WW2, a chemist working for Ford was the leader of a 30,000 member group in America who met and taught their families the ideologies of 'white supremacy'.
I learned this info from a documentary of recently released films and archives of WW2. It was called "The Perilous Fight: America's World War II in color"...it played on PBS channel and is available at the shop section of
http://www.pbs.org . (The ironic part of this previously unseen footage is that Martin Sheen narrated it..and obviously he learned nothing from it)
