Agree with you Devil...let them make the decision whether it is something to be concerned...That's why we have the Alert Levels, to warn us to be more diligent and aware of suspicious behavior.
I can't tell you how much razzing I've gotten most of my life because I'm 1/2 Syrian, but since 9-11, boy has it gotten to the point that it's almost comical to me!
I have to keep telling people that I'm 3rd generation Ameriacan, 1/2 Italian and Roman Catholic tho I was baptized Melchite Catholic..Not Muslim and certainly not an EXTTEMIST. And I don't even look Arabic!

I'm sure Scott has to pay for his own stamps. They usually have a little "commissary" that the prisoners have to buy from--b/c they're not allowed to have people bring them stuff--and it usually charges its captive clientele exorbitant prices.

I'm troubled at the moment. I feel contempt for Scott b/c in my opinion he killed Laci and Connor. But I feel MORE contempt for Geraldo, and he makes me MORE sick than Scott does! This has gotta be way out of whack! Even though Geraldo is an insufferable little poseur, he's not a murderer. So I SHOULD have more contempt for Scott, the man I think is a murderer.

Maybe it's because Geraldo has just worked so hard to win everyone's heartfelt contempt.

I know a family of Palestinians. I've known them since I was a child. The parents came here as immigrants. They are Christians--Episcopal--and if there was ever anything to do with islam in their family, I sure never heard of it!

They are thoroughly assimilated. They are as patriotic about America as anyone. You know, Jackie, the Irish were treated badly when they first came. (Not that your family has "just come"--fer cryin' out loud, three generations!) They have bombers among them, too, but I've never heard of anyone being afraid of ALL people of Irish heritage just b/c some of them have done bombings, lol!
