Hmm, that seems like kind of a subtle cheap shot, don't you think?

We just spent a thread talking about people who have subverted our Constitution, reversed some of our liberties(ie. 2nd amendment, but others as well, and rightists are guilty of that too) and actively work for the destruction of the American Way from positions of power and influence.

Then you criticize hard-core believers in liberty for saying what some of us have just said on the thread. Some of them are extremely misguided, I'd agree, to the point where holding to their views on open borders or whatever is more important than realistic solutions. But that doesn't mean they are communist operatives.

Not everyone is what they say they are. And eventually one must look at what those who are uncompromising absolutists accomplish. When, year after year, they accomplish nothing but empower the left, it does make one wonder how many are agent provocateurs. When every step toward more liberty is denouced by the absolutists as "not good enough" (the Bush tax cuts for instance) it becomes clear some--not all of course--have no intention of promoting a restoration of a constitutional republic and more liberty.

Not singling out you or any other individual except certain ones on the national stage. Many are sincere. But many are not.
