C-SPAN had an interesting guest (Richard Murphy, Fmr. Asst. Sec. of State for Near East Affairs, 1983-1989 [The Reagan Years] & Council on Foreign Relations, Middle East Studies Director) from 8-8:45 AM EST who gave his take on the current events in the Middle East and current foreign policy decisions.

RE: Bill Richardson
He's one of the few Clintonites that was actually able to be elected to something on his own merit..other than the witch. I think they consider him to be one of the more reasonable Clintonites and therefore he gets a lot of invites.
Just my opinion...no idea if that's the real reason.

Bamdar cickened out, and sent that little weasel who did the "choked up" press conference the other night.
Tim is beating up on him - big time! He must think he's talking to a pubbie.
Tim must be setting the stage for the RATS to blame Bush in the next segment.

Russert is really giving it to him: No let up; lots of hard questions; good quotes form speeches and newspapers to boster his points.
This little clown will go back to the mansion after the show, slug down a few scotches and then beat the wife to relieve the tension.
HOWEVER, I wish Tim were like this with Dashle or Hitlery.

I just caught the tail end of FNC's interview with Sen. Hagel. Did I hear correctly? Did he just praise Sen. Graham as an honorable man...a man Hagel expects will present his "evidence" against the President's handling of the war on terror??
To: evad
Russert had many opportunities to nail this little man to the wall and as usual didn't. Russert had the facts and his ducks all in a row this morning and didn't go for the kill. What's the point of having a Saudi interviewed if you give him a pass when the going gets tough.

Tony Snow asked Sen. Chuck Hagel if there was anything in the national security meetings he attended that would support Grahmans accusation that the President ignored information that would have stopped 911.
Hagel backed the president and said he has not come across anything to support Grahams accusation.
