SINGAPORE: The Egyptian who guards the elusive Osama Bin Laden has taken over as al-Qaeda's military commander following capture of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of September 11, a terrorism expert says.
Saif al-Adel, who has a $25 million price on his head on the FBI's list of most wanted terrorists. They chose him because he is their most competent man and he fits the typical al-Qaeda, Islamic jehad mindset, said Rohan Gunaratna.

who guards Osama's remains and the secret of his demise. There has been NO verifiable proof that OBL did not croak in Dec 2001 and his lack of verifiable testimony since turns the burden of proof to those who want him to be alive. How maddening is it to hear Kerry last night with Tweety mentioning his name over and over and over like it is the talking point of the millenium when he KNOWS the sheikh is probably microbe food. (... reports from unnamed sources say Osama MAY have PERSONALLY ordered Yada Yada Bullfricking S&^% Yada...)

That's got to be one of the duller jobs there is.

This story matches up to another posting about an Egyptian doctor tending to OBL in some cave while avoiding bombing strikes. I think there are kernels of truth in these stories that can match up to the real deal gradually.

This is such bs. CIA can't find him. FBI can't find him. No intelligence agency in the world can find him. But some reporter for the frikkin' India Times knows all about his Egyptian bodyguard, some Saudi reporter knows all about the new super-duper reconstituted al-Qeada that the CIA will never crack, etc.
He's dead, Jim...
