I haven't studied the different bills but I have heard that there are some tax *increases* in there. So I don't know how much are the total *net* tax cuts, but to some extent the pain is just being allocated differently, as in a shell game.

Anything is better than nothing, which is exactly what we will get if it goes down to defeat. Looks like more rebates coming to those of us with kids. Guess I could get about $800. Not too shabby.
