He was calling out to the fact that 20-somethings do defy gravity better...I don't think he'd deny you that they mature as well.
From a strict anthropological aspect, maturity doesn't matter.

He is also calling attention to the fact that males prefer younger women, always have, always will.
Outside of the anthropological aspect, I dispute that. Not all males prefer younger females.
