Latest Video, Congressional Democrats on Gun Report (05/20/2003)20 min

It's a video so you'll have to watch it for your selves but try not to put your fist to far into your monitor.

Launtenburg goes into why his new GUN LAW (S969)will keep guns from terrorists, but how it will not affect legal gun buyers, yeah right. Also they go into why normal citizens should not be able to buy .50 cal weapons.

The Rats know that gun control is a losing bet and secretly hope that the Republicans kill this bill so that they never have to go on record with recorded votes. And all the time they will act as though they are outraged that the Republicans can't see the light ans pass a few hundred more "sensible gun control laws".

All the usual suspects.

Lautenberg, like some spectre of statism risen again from the dead, continues to infect American politics with his tried and true brand of Marxism.

And Kennedy, hater of all freedoms. Nothing quite like him. I just read in the latest American Rifleman magazine how he is attempting to derail the statewide reciprocity bill currently in congress by tacking on ammo-ban amendments and the like.

These two scumbags are exactly the evil men that the founding fathers feared would someday inhabit the halls of American government. File this under "know thy enemy".

We need to FReep Byrd's office on gun control - very hard. Have him take up the mantle. He comes from WV, and they LOVE their guns!

Wanted to let you know I had a great time Sunday, it seemed as if everyone else did also. Maybe we should take their advice and start our own cable show.

Cable show? Great idea! We can call it "J & J's Blast-a-thon"! $:-)

Yes, a great time was had by all, and it was good to see you all again. I recommended that TW look into getting his son a Springfield XD in 9mm when he turns 18. Very nice, inexpensive, handles very well and 9 is a great and inexpensive place to start. The NRA just voted it "pistol of the year", and for good reason.

I finally booked around 1515 on Sunday -- the heat and the bugs were starting to give me a headache. All the targets were totally perforated by then anyway!

Sen Lout: .50 Caliber Assault Weapon. New scary term. "originally designed as an Anti-Aircraft weapon". (Of course that's not even true of John Moses Browning's MaDuece, although it was certainly used that way for several decades.) (How much black powder is 50 lbs? they want to reduce "none reportable" limit to 5 lbs from 50. Stuff is not that difficult to make anyway) Lout's bill is S969 provides for "not less than" 500 new BATE inspectors and NLT 1000 new BATFE agents. Jolly.

Kennedy.. (incohert and not worth mentioning)

Lizard Face: "Al Qaeda still alive and kicking". (Then why do these slime want to disarm law abiding Americans?) (Has his own scaley bill in addition to the Lout's bill)

The McCart lady: (Big emphasis on 9-11/terrorists (How many of the 9-11 terrorist used guns? 0 How many guns did the OKC bombers use, 0 (McViegh had one, it's what got him taken into custody, along with an "illegal knife"..) We have denied no ordinary citizens the right to buy guns..(BS where is my original configuration AR-15, I want one, I'm a citzen, but their law are denying be the ability to buy one, except at an Exorbident price ) This is a "National Securty Issue! (Yes it is, but not the way you think it is)

The Lout again, 20% of NICS checks denied (probably intially due to similar names, non disqualifying "hits" and so forth) Focus is on "Homeland Security" (yeah right) It an emergency!!! The sky is falling. yada, yada, yada. Gun show loophole, unliscened dealer (no such thing, read the d@*n law) Oh no, he let slip the statement that the war in Iraq was part of the war on terrorism. (He'll be spanked by the other dems for that one!)

Common Theme: It's the NRA's fault, Bush is in cohoots with the NRA to let criminals and terrorsts aquire guns! What a bunch of slim balls I think the NRA has finally decided if they are going to get "blamed" for opposing every gun control scheme that comes down the pike, they might as well actually do it, contrary to their previous track record. At least LaPiere and new NRA president Robinson have been making those kind of noises.

Millions of NRA members have killed fewer people than Ted Kennedy armed with a point three blood content and an Olds.

Lautenberg holds the coveted Racketeer Influenced Criminal Organization seat from New Jersey. When we need his opinion we'll ask Tony Soprano.

And one wonders how many people indirectly or directly died as a result of the Joe Kennedy bootlegging empire in the 20s.
