Add to the Brownlow editorial..
Michelle Malkin (5/21)
What good is the $5 billion Transportation Security Administration if it can't keep armed impostors from breezily bypassing security checkpoints and boarding planes?
Armstrong Williams (5/21)
Rep. Terry Everett (R-ALA.) sneaked $202,500 for a National Peanut Festival into economic development appropriations.
2003 Labor/HHS/Education Appropriations Bill included an $800,000 gift to the Grammy Foundation for music and arts education. Never mind that the Grammy Foundation board is studded with millionaire mega-stars.
Appropriators handed out $500,000 to the International Coffee Organization, whose professed goal is to stimulate the coffee economy. Coffee is good, but protecting our troops and confronting threats from rogue states should come before handouts.

Nice article. The Constitution Party rocks. Too bad so many people are blindly gimped to the Republican Party.

About 6 parties should do. Maybe no parties, since people don't seem to "stick" to their party's platform anyway. Make everyone run on their own 2 feet.

This is much closer to how I saw The Matrix. Many saw it as a Christ-figure story, others saw it as a philosophical piece ("What is Real?"). It reminded me of a too-powerful entity having far more control over my life than I ever wanted, intended, or conceived.

The list goes on and on. By any objective evaluation, we find that there is no discernable difference in our how our Government is run regardless of whether the Democrats or the Republicans are in charge. Every year our spending increases and our debt continues to grow - going on $7 trillion today. Every year we find ourselves more heavily regulated, more heavily taxed and more heavily controlled.BUMP!!!!

I ask my liberal friends "The Matrix" question.
"If everything you have ever experienced and assumed to be real was a fantasy, if your whole life was based on a lie, would you want to know the truth?"
I am surprised at how many say "no."

So, in other words, let's support yet another third party that will do the same as the other two parties.

The two-party system has served America very well. The multiple-party system keeps Europe barely chugging along and losing what liberties they have.
Mr. Brownlow really, really wants power, and doesn't like the competition in the two-party system, WHICH by the way, has served America very well.
Only a moron actually believes there is no difference between the Democrats and the Republicans. I don't think Brownlow is a moron....so that makes him an evil spoiler.

You can always spot the third party drivel spews in the first or second paragraph of the always verbose offerings that they dump on FR. Somewhere in the proclaimed self-actualization, is the staple "there is no difference between the two parties" mantra, founded not in truth, but in the hope of the reader turning to the new savior of democracy, the little snotty gaggle of self-appointed partiots in the third party phone booth conventions.

Over 10,000,000 American children have been killed by abortion since 1994, turning the Republican Revolution into what would be more appropriately described as the Republican Reign of Terror. What an idiotic statement. This guy is a real moron.
