Dr. Atkin's diet didn't do him a lick of good in the long run.

What are you talking about? Dr. Atkins died last month from head injuries at the age of 72 and was in excellent health until then.

The Atkins program turned my whole family around. My children will not be part of the alarming numbers of children who have Type II diabetes.

The weight loss is almost incidental to us achieving lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol, and steering us away from hyperinsulinism.

Look around you. How many people do you know who have Type II diabetes? It ain't a pretty disease.

He had a heart attack about 6 months before his death. Not that there isn't something to his diet, but to say he was in excellent health is stretching it.

Actually, Dr. Atkins had bypass surgery some months before
he fell. It was maintained that the heart problem was
caused by an infection of the heart, but you can't isolate
parts of the body like that and not attribute at least the
possibility of everything connecting in cause and effect.
Huge amounts of fatty meats aren't good for anyone, nor
is refined sugar and flour in huge amounts.
