They had a thread during the election at low carb friends titled something like "Republican or Democrat". The first person to reply had a catty anti Bush comment starting with something like "Democrat of course". Then all the Republicans dove in. EVERYBODY WAS REPUBLICAN. The few democrats were mystified at why everyone at low carb friends was Republican. I believe the reason was that the Republicans are able to think outside the box while the democrats were unable to comprehend anything Katie Couric didn't tell them.
My wife, Katie Colic thought about posting "I am so Republican I feel guilty when I recycle"! She didn't do it despite my urgings!
"I am so Republican I feel guilty when I recycle"LOL, I may borrow that to use in the teacher's lunch room. (I teach in a middle school, and I am surrounded by the enemy every day. ...although you would be amazed how many teachers tell me privately that they agree with my views -- they just won't say so in public!)
