I wanted to have the greatest admiration for Mary as she always seemed to be a straight thinker, but after marrying the coon-ass, I can't say I trust her to mean anything she says.

I think that politics must be just a game to both Mary and Chester. That is the only way I can see their situation. They don't really take it seriously and they are just playing the rest of us for fools.
