As an aside, if anyone can explain what keeps her and Carville together, I'd be most grateful. (I'm sorry, but I don't think even love can be that powerful)

I hope these poor kids don't look like serpenthead.

Do her kids have hair? What's the title of her manuscript? "How To Marry an Obnoxious, Liberal Cue Ball And Other Lessons for Our Kids in a Post-9/11 World"?

what keeps her and Carville together
Good question. I have no respect whatsoever for that woman because she is married to that pig.

I don't think either of them has much appeal. He's an obnoxious amoral slobbering lunatic, and she's a cold fish.

She is not that good. Never understood why Cheney hired her for the White House. She has made a damn good living off of being the person who used to get Lee Atwater coffee!
as for her "... looking forward to joining the Bush administration's re-election campaign when it starts" - I hope she is waiting by her phone for about the next 18 months. The campaign will be much better WITHOUT her!

Matalin, who was Vice President Dick Cheney's top public relations strategist until she resigned in December to spend more time with her young daughters, is writing the book for Matty, 7, and Emma, 5. How does she keep confidential information out of enemy hands, and are her kids DemocRATS or Republicans?

What could she possibly have to say.
To: FourtySeven
The book, slated for publication for Mother's Day 2004, is tentatively titled, "Letters to My Daughters." Matalin says it will be filled with motherly advice about life; "everything I want them to know (after I'm gone.)"Her first paragraph to them should be to never get mixed up with anyone who thinks clinton was a great president. That'll at least get them started in the "right" direction........

"
As an aside, if anyone can explain what keeps her and Carville together, I'd be most grateful."I wanted to have the greatest admiration for Mary as she always seemed to be a straight thinker, but after marrying the coon-ass, I can't say I trust her to mean anything she says.
I think that politics must be just a game to both Mary and Chester. That is the only way I can see their situation. They don't really take it seriously and they are just playing the rest of us for fools.
