You wrote, "(Did you perhaps reply to the wrong person??)"
Exactly so. Sorry, obviously I didn't address my reply correctly. I was just responding in a general way to yellow dawg republicans who would vote for Olympia Snowe over Zell Miller let's say.
Bush is now responsible for the leadership of this country. If he doesn't do everything he can to maintain our country's safety and security, he should be gone in 2004. Simple.
Bush is a good man which is no small achievement for a person choosing politics as a way of life. I'm confident that he'll be well deserving of our support at that time.
But the maintenance of security at our borders is more largely wish than substance, and the president is responsible for that too.

Hillary Clinton has as much chance of becoming the POTUS as Al Sharpton.

The most efficient way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory is by underestimating your opponents. We are a long way from 2008 and thus Hillary has a chance. If we forget this simple fact, there can be a terrible price to pay.

Thanks for the ping. This article would make you wonder why anyone would ever vote for a democrat.

I would be willing to bet that before the end of his second term the terrorist threat will mostly be gone. THAT is why he'll be re-elected. If President Bush does not get re-elected there is a very good chance this country will suffer greatly. We simply can't afford it.

I thought the downfall of President George Bush I was his decision to wage a political war against Israel on behalf of his Islamic friends. I remember it well . . .

What? The Jews defeated Bush Sr? Come on. Yes he lost some Jewish votes over Baker and the settlements but there was no Israeli/Jewish plot which caused his "downfall."

Compromising with Democrats is what defeated Bush Sr.

It was more evangelical Christians (a much more decisive voting block) than Jews that allowed George Bush Sr. to defeat himself. The Jews in America were not a decisive factor, as James Baker profanely confirmed.
