Happy to share with you what's asinine. First of all, this is not an isolated incident that I'm simply imagining you did when you surmised that Christians "must" have done something like this to "somebody at sometime." I probably would agree with you that at sometime, somewhere, somebody who in the name of Christianity did something like this, but you won't find any biblical warrant for it. Although they MAY have acted savagely, they were in direct violation of the absolute authority of God.

With Islamists, this is not isolated. If you check a few credible information sources, you'll find this is common practice among Islamists in places like Pakistan, Sudan, and Indonisia. I suggest you go to www.persecution.org or the website for Open Doors or simply put "persecuted church" in any search engine and read some of the incidents that have taken place over the past few years. These kinds of things may not be daily occurences, but they are common enough. More Christians were killed in the 20th Century for their faith than all the previous 19 centuries combined!!

Asinine means "unintelligent" which is what your comment was. Lumping Christianity with this kind of Islam is completely ludicrous and laughably stupid.
