His ancestry moves south and east, and ends up in SC and NC, and I think perhaps MS if I remember right. One line ends with an Irish immigrant (the MS connection I think).
I didn't see anything which seemed to be an American Indian connection. Presidential ancestry is well documented, and I don't think it'd be too difficult to find out the truth. He may just be spouting what he was told, although someone in his position should find out if something like that is true before publically proclaiming it.

Mo, when I was in Okie City last year, someone asked if I had heard the rumor that wee willy is actually joe kennedy's illegit son. Supposedly that is how the Hope boy got in with so many politicians, like those that wrote such wonderful letters to excuse him from the service, etc. The guy who told me thinks ted and willy boy are brothers.
