BTW ... He makes a comment about how the Pentegon purposely did not give the President information and he would discuss this further in his book

What President is he talking about and when did this happen?

I really don't want to watch this thing over again

There is a spider floating in my toilet. I think I'll watch that instead.

It's true. I forgot where I'd read that. They couldn't trust him so they wouldn't tell him certain things because he was so unstable and might wag a dog or something. sh!t happens.

Mo, I think he was talking about Carter when he was talking about the Pentagon not telling the President something.

He is in the middle of answering a question about the difference between Republicans and Democrats and he just said something amazing.

He said that the reason the interest rates are so low is because the economy is down. Once the economy goes back up the interest rates will go back up and the only people that will hurt will be the little people, their mortgage rates will rise, their car payment interest rates will rise, etc. People like him who don't need all the money he has and can't possibly spend it all will not be hurt when the economy gets better and interest rates rise.

Huh?

[Also note the long shot of audience member with thick glasses, which should signify intelligence, nodding intelligently as Clinton says this.]

He's now hammering on how awful tax cuts will be and how the people will suffer.

I know, I know, I said I was going to take a shower but there's something just so fascinating about this. It's a freak show.

Now he's saying "In 1994 Rwanda lost about 10 percent of its population in 60-90 days." He blathers on some more, can't figure out where he's going with this, however, he was President in 1994 and I haven't yet heard from him why his administration did nothing. Oh, now's he's saying "We actually did some things to make it much better but it was way too late."

"I don't think anybody was trying to screw up Somolia, I think it just happened."

"I think that the people who were bringing these decisions to me felt that ... I was desperately trying to convince the Europeans and many of my own Congress ... [mentions Bosnia] and when I finally started focusing on this reading the news reports it was too late to do anything about it."

"I founded the Africa Crisis Response Team .... "

"I just missed it and by the time I figured it out it was too late."

QUESTION: Often I hear people say they wish you could be elected to serve another term as President. If the opportunity existed, would you run?

CLINTON: ...... [this is too boring to even try to type]

You just can't make this stuff up.
