Dennis Miller, Andy Granitelli diss Clinton on Indianapolis television
WTHR-TV live interview | May 25, 2003 | Ann Ryder, Dennis Miller, and Andy Granitelli

Posted on 05/25/2003 7:50:11 AM PDT by Miss Marple

HAHAHAHA!!

Dennis Miller and Andy Granitelli interviewed by Ann Ryder, clueless but nice local anchor. I am trying to give an accurate transcription, but here is the gist of it.

Lots of talk about how exciting it is to be at the 500. Then Ann asks the big question:

"So, were you at the Clinton party last night?"

Miller: NO. We weren't invited, and if we were invited we wouldn't go!

Granitelli starts laughing as do all the people behind them. Granitelli says that not only would they not attend, they wouldn't even want to be in the same room with him.

Miller then adds that Clinton is lower than a spring-break destination.

Then Granitelli says that President George YH.W. Bush is in town, and how proud he is of his son, and what a great job he is oing.

Then Miller says that they would be HONORED to attend a party with former President Bush.

Ann then decides to end the interview, but before she can Miller says "And at a party with HIM, we could take our wives!"

Thanks for bringing some well-needed cheer into a Sunday morning rife with democrats spewing their venom on the Sunday shows!

I can guarantee you no one in this city is watching any of those shows. All local stations are doing pre-race coverage.

This is a good weekend for democrats to be on the shows. No one is watching them but pepople like us, and we know they are liars. The vast majority of people are going to church, barbecues, the shore, or camping.

Yes, you're right and the guests on the various programs prove your point: low ratings this weekend!

This was great! One small correction, the racing entrepreneur and STP pitchman is Andy GranAtelli...

Indy is a great place to see a race, I used to do the USGP there, last year I couldn't go (something about a war!) and I doubt I will be able to get my tickets this year. Dang.

I just have a vision of the local anchor, typical vacuous bimbo no doubt, whose fondest hope would be an invitation to the Clinton group-grope, running into the innate conservatism of racing culture.

Bump!

The conversion of Dennis Miller from what he was on MNF is astounding.

Pretty funny comments! That they also all happen to be true is serendipity.
