HERE is some advice about this event from Randy Herrst, posted with his permission:
The annual Raahauge's Shooting Sports Fair is your opportunity to shoot many models of current firearms at 20+ manufacturers' booths.
You can live fire rifles, shotguns, pistols, air guns, archery, some antiques (WWI, WWII, cowboy guns and flintlocks), and some rare or unusual firearms (such as a real Gatling Gun).

The manufacturers have technical representatives to answer your questions regarding their latest developments or to match your needs to the right model for you. If you want to shoot the latest innovations or you want to compare several different products before you buy, this has a wider selection than any ordinary range.

This is the best shooter participation show on the West Coast, so don't miss this once-a-year event!

Safety officers accompany every shooter to ensure safe gun handling and proper operation of the firearms. If you have little or no experience, tell the representatives and safety assistants so that they can help you pick an appropriate firearm for your skill level and show you how to use it properly.

In addition, there are professional exhibitions, trained hunting dog shows, and a place to test drive a Hummer.

There is a lunch stand and water on premises, or bring your own.

Tips: plan on spending several hours minimum (there are lots of firearms to try--I usually spend the whole day), bring sunglasses with impact resistant lenses, bring your own hearing protection if you have it, bring sunblock, bring a bunch of $1 bills for convenient payment of ammo fees (I usually bring $20-30 in one dollar bills for that purpose)

Do not bring any of your own firearms or ammo.

June 6 Friday Noon to 6 pm
June 7 Saturday 10 am to 6 pm
June 8 Sunday 10 am to 5 pm
Norco, CA

$12 for adults, $2 discount coupons available from Turner's Outdoorsman.
If you join NRA at the gate, you get in free.
Free parking.

Use of firearms is free, you pay for ammo you consume (cost varies by caliber--2 or 3 rounds per dollar for common calibers)

Women and children free on Friday
Children under 14 free any day
