[history]
A spokesman for al Qaeda has told an Arabic-language newsmagazine that the terror group will try to use poisons to attack the United States, specifically threatening to contaminate the nation's water supply.
Abu Mohammed al-Ablaj told the London-based al-Majallah magazine that "al Qaeda [does not rule out] using sarin gas and poisoning drinking water in U.S. and Western cities."

Islam appears rotten at the core, to breed such animals as they do, across all the lands they inhabit.
Lest anybody disagree, simply survey worldwide terrorism, and you'll find islam very disproportionately represented.

Seems like Al-Qaeda's greatest weapon lately is increasing "chatter", which then causes the threat level to rise and saddles us all with additional expenses and headaches.

I think that might've been one of their top goals with 9/11. If they had WMD's that day, I think they'd have used them.
Instead, they used something easier/cheaper that still got everyone thinking about possible attacks from now on. Now all it takes is some press releases.
Of course, that won't last forever if they cry wolf all the time. But, it does give them a few years to plan another 9/11 or worse attack and still do damage to us in the meantime.
