Actually Howlin, she said "there is nothing of Laci's left in the house". Further, as far as the new lock, what do the Roche's expect? They were concerned that the house was insecure. Mrs. Peterson explained, and news accounts have reported, that the property has been broken into and replaced the presumably broken lock. Nothing to look at here.</p>

The Rochas expect to be able to go into their daughter's house. There's no reason to keep them out, unless the Petersons are just being nasty.

And I doubt the police removed all of Laci's possessions; if there aren't any there, the Petersons got rid of them.
