"This cannot continue much longer before God intervenes."
Your deity seems to be absent. Ugly stuff has been going on for millenia, but no sign of any gods.

Your deity seems to be absent. He will "seem to be absent" until the Apocalypse. Then there will be a "new heavens and new earth."

Ugly stuff has been going on for millenia, but no sign of any godsHmmph, you obviously were't present at the birth of my beautiful baby girl...
As they say, God works in mysterious ways. To try and divine His will from worldly events is akin to and infinitely beyond bacteria trying to understand the theories of Stephen Hawking.

I think ugly stuff has been going on far longer than millenia, but so has beautiful stuff. Millenia are microseconds in a cosmic view. How can a person define ugly without having witnessed the beautiful?

"Ugly stuff has been going on for millenia, but no sign of any gods."That's what they all said to Noah, while he was building a ship a long way from the water.
God showed up a little later....and He will again.

I never get tired of that one.

Your deity seems to be absent. Ugly stuff has been going on for millenia, but no sign of any gods. This was one of the very ugliest of all stuff ---of course you don't see God anywhere in a case like this ---not in the rapist, not in the hateful grandmother, not in the doctors. God doesn't hate, he doesn't destroy ---you have to look at cases where love won out and you'll see signs of God.

Your deity seems to be absent. Ugly stuff has been going on for millenia, but no sign of any gods. Hang on, Dude. The ride's about to get real bumpy.
At which point, you may want to reconsider your whole stance on GOD!
