Inside Politics - - Stephen Moore, president of the conservative Club for Growth, takes issue with U.S. News & World Report columnist Gloria Borger, who this week criticized Mr. Moore's group for what she called its "over the top" ad campaign that targets Sen. Olympia J. Snowe, Maine Republican, and several other senators who opposed President Bush's tax cut.

"Gloria Borger" is some Eastern European dialect for "shoddy reporting", so it's no surprise that someone who adopted that as a pen name is a liberal hack.

I am afraid Maine is lost to the NE red tide, Yellow Snowe is moving even more to the left. I did have some hope on 95 when I was driving home, a
Balducci is a Communist, Gov, bumper sticker on a car with a Maine Plate.
Maine is fast becoming the Jamaca Plain of the North.

The Club for Growth is making a huge difference in the Republican party. The only reason that some of the more liberal GOP members in the house voted for the tax cut is the fear of the Club promoting a conservative primary challenger in their district. No longer can "moderate" GOP members flaunt the party wishes and coddle up to the media with impunity. They now fear that the Club for Growth can hold them to account with adverisements and possible primary challenges in their district. If it were not for Club for Growth support of the Pat Toomey primary challenge, I will bet we would have not had Arlen Spectors vote on the tax bill.

Olympia! is losing support rapidly. I can hardly wait for Bangor's 4th of July parade.
She's so freakin' stupid that last year she walked the parade route in heels.
