I was thinking of getting the Civil War series on DVD from this guy. Has anybody seen the series and if so, is it worth buying? I may have to put on my asbestos suit for this, but I think The Civil War series was just oustanding. I've seen it many times, and was astonished that such a quality production could make it on to PBS, pretty much devoid of the liberal flavor for which they and Ken Burns are so widely known.

I'm convinced. I'm getting the DVDs in the fall when I take my workouts inside (I have a treadmill and a big-screen TV in the basement). The treadmill is a lot more fun when you have good DVDs to watch.
